Maybe you could get your Company, shop, school or Youth Group involved with fundraising with a Wedding theme - we have plenty of ideas so please get in touch.
Take a Break Magazine launched 'National Wedding Dress Day' in August 2006 and NACCPO raised almost £1000 by taking part.
Rachael Olley and Husband Dave (with son Connor, himself a former cancer patient) made shoppers smile by donning Wedding attire and holding collecting buckets at Asda Stafford.*
With sponsorship collected by Dorothy Millward (one of our many loyal supporters) the couple raised over £250!*
Staff at Francesco's Hair Salon, Weeping Cross, Stafford volunteered to take part and raised £630 by dressing up (males and females wore wedding dresses!!) , holding raffles and a collection on the day. We are very grateful to them for all their hard work.
The event not only raised valuable funds but promoted NACCPO in Take a Break Magazine, press and local radio.

Fancy Dress 80’s Disco at Perkins Social Club, Tixall Road, Stafford. Starts 8pm. Following the huge success of our 70’s disco last year we are holding another fun-packed evening! ‘Good Cause’ Rock Band evening at the Amasal Sports and Social Club, St. Alban’s Road, Stafford. Entrance by ticket only – this band is very poplular so we advise you to buy tickets early!

70's Fancy Dress Disco at Perkins Social Club, Tixall Road, Stafford. Tickets are £6 for adults, £3 for children including hot food. Prizes for the best adult and child fancy dress. International Master chess player Loz Cooper finds time in between chess coaching and competitions to raise funds for us via sponsored matches, exhibitions and chess simuli. Loz is also ranked No.1 Chess player in Staffordshire but still affords time to help us despite his busy schedule.

Detective Sgt Sue Bufton and colleagues at the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, Staffordshire Police HQ for their large donation following their Annual fundraising Ball and the creation of this new NACCPO website.

Macmillan Cancer Support - NACCPO were awarded a grant from Macmillan Cancer Support in April 2007 to support member group networking activities across the UK.
Next One Fashion Shows – these have been a regular fundraiser for us with a great deal of help from Tom and his team.
Perkins Social Club, Tixall Road, Stafford – For the numerous occasions we have held fundraising events at this venue.
